Vivéa Signature Set Review: Cooling, Gentle Skincare for Perimenopausal & Menopausal Skin

Vivéa Signature Set Review: Cooling, Gentle Skincare for Perimenopausal & Menopausal Skin

April 29, 2026 THOUGHTS 0

Just before Christmas 2025, I joined a local networking group for women in business. One of the members owns Vivéa® Skincare – a skincare company that focuses on one aspect of being a woman: menopause. Now, as a woman who turns 60 at the end of this year and who objects to whispered mutterings of “she’s going through The Change” (what are we? werewolves?), this definitely caught my attention. When Francoise asked if I would be interested in reviewing Vivéa Signature Set, I jumped at the opportunity. I was supposed to post this months ago – but life got a little …derailed. More about that in another post. For now, let’s take a look at Vivéa.

What I love more than anything about this range is that everything feels calming, cooling, and genuinely designed for skin that’s dealing with hormonal change. Nothing stings, nothing feels heavy, and nothing leaves that weird sticky residue that makes you want to wash your face again.

Gentle Creamy Cleanser

This was the first thing that won me over. It’s incredibly gentle and rinses away beautifully — no stickiness, no endless wiping, no tightness. My skin felt clean but comfortable, and it didn’t irritate my very sensitive eyes. Cooling, soothing, and just… easy. Bonus points because I actually remember to use this because I like the product!

Cooling Mist

This one lives in my handbag now. Truly. When I get overheated or flushed, out it comes. It’s refreshing without being sticky – I really need to find my thesaurus – or overly scented, and it gives instant relief when your face feels too warm. If you get nothing else from the range – get this. You will not be sorry. Trust me.

Day Gel Cream

The texture is gorgeous — lightweight, cooling, and really comfortable on the skin. It sits nicely under makeup and doesn’t feel cakey or like you’ve just too much goop on. My skin is extremely dry, so on some days I needed a little more than I’d normally use, but it layered well and never felt greasy. A nice, light  everyday moisturiser.

Night Gel Cream

Now a thing I hate about night cream – aside from it being …you know…sticky…. is how heavy it often is. I know, I know – as we …. mature… we need a heavier product. I get it, honestly I do. But does it have to feel like I just dumped a bucket of polyfilla on my face? Well, it turns out that no it does not – and this night gel is the proof. It’s cooling before bed, sinks in beautifully, and doesn’t leave that tacky (ha! you thought I was going to say sticky didn’t you?) feeling some night creams do. My skin felt calm and comfortable, and I woke up without any irritation or tightness. A really lovely formula.

Calming Lubricant

This is a great all‑rounder. Comfortable anywhere on the body, and yes, it’s very effective and gentle for more intimate areas as well. No irritation, no weird after‑feel — it just does exactly what it’s meant to do.

Overall, the Vivéa Signature Set has been a genuinely lovely experience. Everything feels thoughtfully formulated for perimenopausal and menopausal skin, and the cooling aspect is no gimmick — it’s actually soothing, cooling and very practical. Now if you’ll excuse me…I really do need to find that thesaurus!

I was offered a complete set of product in exchange for an honest review – which I should have put up months ago. Je m’excuse, Francoise.
