From my desk to yours: May 9, 2021
Well it’s a drizzly Monday morning here in New Zealand and while I do have coffee, I sadly do not have cake.
That garden variety head cold I was battling last week is still hanging around and kicking my ass. I’ve spent most of the past ten days curled up in a blanket with hot blackcurrent tea and bad television. While I’m still not 100%, I am a lot better this morning so have embarked on operation catch up.
I have had a heads up that there is another box of books being released from customs – so hopefully some time in the next six weeks they’ll land. I’ll be heading out today with the ones that have been waiting all week for me to feel up to a trip to the Post Office.
Meanwhile…
News….
Peaceful Seas (The San Capistrano Series 8)
I can’t believe I’m talking to you about Book 8 in this series. It still amazes me how many of you love Ben and Alex. As many of you know, San Cap (as I think of it) started out as a short story for an assignment I was doing at university. From there it became first a novel then the series that it is now. I still have plans to recover the series but have decided I will hold off until Book 9 is complete, since that will be the last in the series.
Peaceful Seas picks up immediately after Blazing Sands and should be with you very soon. If you’ve not read any of the series yet, why not grab a copy of The Beach House and get started?
Pet Me (The Toye Shoppe 1)
Pet Me is fast becoming one of my favorite projects. I love the characters and if you are a fan of Jesse, Joey, or Leif from the Grove – I’m sure you will love sweet, shy Bailey as much as I do. At least I hope you will.If all goes well, I’m hoping to do a cover reveal in the next newsletter as the cover by May Dawney Designs is just gorgeous!

The Three Hearts Equation (College Boys of New Haven Book 2) from Hayden Hall
If love makes sense to you, you’re doing it wrong.
Mason
I loved Leo from the moment I met him. But life gets busy when you grow up. Leo took good care of me, and now he needs someone to take care of him. I must step up and be that person. Except I can’t do it alone.
Leo
I could carry everyone’s worries on my shoulders but mine. In just a few days, my dad ruined our family and the only person I can lean on is Mason. He worries and cares and I love him endlessly, but our lives are messy with no signs of improvement. Can we endure this on our own or is the solution to all our problems right my nose?
Quinn
I never meant to fall in love. That’s just not what I do. But Mason and Leo could use some help and who better to help them but their best friend? The more I’m with them, the more I realize I’m going down a dangerous road. Of millions of possible outcomes, all are bad but one. Do we even stand a chance?
The Three Hearts Equation is the second book in the College Boys of New Haven series. It can be read as a standalone, but it’s more fun if you’ve read The Nerd Jock Conundrum and the free prequel novella. This is a sweet and steamy MMM romance featuring two nerds and a jock with a guaranteed HEA. Get your copy here or by clicking the image below:
