Well it’s a drizzly Monday morning here in New Zealand and while I do have coffee, I sadly do not have cake. That garden variety head cold I was battling last week is still hanging around and kicking my ass. I’ve spent most of the past ten days curled up in a blanket with hot blackcurrent tea and bad television. While I’m still not 100%, I am a lot better this morning so have embarked on operation catch up. Eeeeps! Have you seen the time? As I write this it is the end of a dismal, dreary day here in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. I am still with my mother who has had knee surgery that went a little wonky – but nothing that can’t be handled with a little determination and a lot of coffee. Okay, there may have been the odd drop of brandy as well…. but hey I won’t tell if you don’t. I’ve managed to get myself a little upside down and turned about by being away from home, but all going well I’ll be headed back on Tuesday morning. With that…

Well, here we are… Easter break. Whether you are celebrating a faith based moment or simply enjoying a well earned rest liberally sprinkled with chocolate, I hope that you are able to do so with peace, love, compassion, and acceptance for yourself and those around you. I’m currently down island with my mother and enjoying taking care of her and hanging out with her puppers, Harry and Sassy. Trust me when I tell you that I am definitely also enjoying more chocolate than I probably should be right now… Easter Freebie (April 2 – 5, 2021) Truffles & Tramps (The Holiday Storybook Novellas #3) is free until April 5, so…
