From my desk to yours: April 11, 2021

Eeeeps! Have you seen the time? As I write this it is the end of a dismal, dreary day here in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. I am still with my mother who has had knee surgery that went a little wonky – but nothing that can’t be handled with a little determination and a lot of coffee. Okay, there may have been the odd drop of brandy as well…. but hey I won’t tell if you don’t.

I’ve managed to get myself a little upside down and turned about by being away from home, but all going well I’ll be headed back on Tuesday morning. With that in mind I’ve blocked out the remainder of the week to try and get caught up on everything – so if you’re looking for me on social media, I may be hard to find. (And frankly if you do find me on Facebook – boot me back to my desk, would ya? Thanks.)

Thank you to everyone who grabbed a copy of Truffles & Tramps during the Easter freebie – you helped to send it to a healthy rank at #2 for free Gay Fiction. Pascal is being a pest now and demanding a full length novel – Pascal needs to sit down and hush. Which of course brings us to….

Works in progress….

Obviously the biggies for me are Pet Me (The Toye Shoppe Book 1) and Peaceful Seas (San Cap 8). I should have some idea of publication dates by next Sunday and potential pre-order dates. Oh and a cover reveal some time in the next few weeks.

As far as non-fic goes, everything is focused on the *insert expletive of your choice* thesis so not much to report there.

Coming up….

I will be taking part in several ‘author take-overs’ on Facebook over the next few weeks. You can find all the details here – and if you click each event header you’ll get any further details (if they have been recieved). For April these include:

HM Wolfe In the Eye of the Storm – Release Party

Jaxon Knight The Trouble with Order – Launch Party
J R Loveless Love and Snowballs – Re-release Party

Details are on the website and the list will be updated as I get details to hand. Hopefully I’ll see you at one of the parties.

From other authors…

Covert Strength by Elouise East:

A single father receives more than he bargained for in the shape of an ex-military man in this emotional, low angst MM romance. Can one night change their entire future?

Zak’s son means more to him than anything or anyone else. He refuses to allow another person the opportunity to hurt them. One night stands are all he can afford – emotionally and physically. When one night turns into more than he bargained for, he is blindsided in more ways than one.

Kenzo was honourably discharged from the military when he was in an accident. Adrift, he focuses on what he can do to help those in a similar situation. But hiding his roommate’s condition is taking its toll. One night with Zak turns his world upside down, and he finds he can’t go back to the way things were before.

Yes, Captain from Ann Grech

A cruise ship captain with an unbreakable rule. A dancer who tempts him to toss the rulebook overboard…
Will Preston lives by one edict: don’t date staff. But the new dancer onboard has the silver fox sailing into unchartered waters. Young, sexy, and with a penchant for lipstick and heels, the man pushes all Will’s buttons.
It’s not just the tropical sun that’s heating things up; their chemistry is sizzling.
Will’s been burned before. Can he throw caution to the wind and chart a new course with Eddie by his side? Or will an interfering crew-member steer them into stormy seas? Yes, Captain is a stand-alone, steamy age-gap MM romance set on a cruise ship in the South Pacific, with a flirty dancer who loves pole dancing and his shy captain. Yes, Captain was previously published as Dance With Me. This re-release includes over 30,000 words of never-before-seen bonus content. Preorder your copy here or click the image below:
